Hey guys, and welcome to yet another episode on the marketing podcast, digital marketing tips and insight Episode 121. Now in this episode, I'm going to talk about five things that I have learned from interviewing executives in different from different countries, from different companies and in different sections or segments are stages in their lives in terms of Korea. And in terms of personal growth. Now, the first thing that I've realized from interviewing this certain type of people that are interacting with executives is that most of them are across the board, most of them have a determination to learn. Now, they're always looking to learn new things. And you can pretty much see that when you look at some of the things that they are doing, or some of the questions that you know, they also asked if you're interviewing them, and you ask them question, you know, they also want to know about what you do, what you do, how you do your things, because they want to learn, and also, you know, learn from you as much as you're learning from them. They want to improve yourself. So that's one thing that I really noticed that, always it either before the interview or after the interview, when I'm chatting up with them off mic, there will be most of the time questions that I will be asked on what I do, how I do what I do, etc. So there is that willingness, willingness, and eager to learn from these executives. The second thing that I've noticed is that most of them are always networking. Now, you'll find that, for example, with some of them that I follow on LinkedIn, or on various social media platforms is that most of the times are usually trying to network and get to know as many people as possible in the industry or in various industries. And they will do that through either like, for example, coming on to different podcasts, like the marketing podcast, digital marketing tips and insights, or they will also go to other podcasts, or they will, maybe they have their own podcast and invite people over and try to network with them, or join our four step conversations on social media, especially LinkedIn, that's something that I've realized a lot, especially LinkedIn. So that's the second thing that I've realized that they do. Now, the third thing is that I've realized most of them experiment a lot on new things, they experiment a lot, to try and come up with alien new solutions, or try and figure out are, you know, start try to solve something just simply to improve themselves, or to improve on whatever it is that they're doing a lot of experimentation. Now you listen to some of them, maybe they have written books, some of them have their own podcast, no, they have tried a lot of things. Maybe some of them, like we had one two weeks ago who you know, was in the artificial intelligence side of things. And they're always trying to trying new things. Think about maybe, for example, the CEO of planning board, we had her on episode 80, that is a senior moon town. And she has come up with this
with this software or application that you know, helps or tries to improve on collaboration between marketers. And they're always trying to experiment. So that's the third thing that I've learned a lot from these executives. Now, the fourth thing that I've learned is that they have, they have a growth mindset. And I talk about growth mindset, I want to think about, for example, one of the guests that we had on the show, and that is Maya Grossman, who has worked for various companies, including Google, Microsoft, kolu, Sora, Sim, etc. And you could listen to watch this thing. And she has this growth mentality that she wants to become better. She wants to do more, and grow herself. And not only how you can also think, for example of the CEO of planning board, how they're trying to grow that company, or let's say let's think about, for example, lncs, we add on podcast growth, who is also trying to grow himself and his business through his podcast, he has actually, I think, two or three podcasts that he's doing. So that's one of the things that I've noticed with most of them, they have a growth mindset. The fifth thing that I've noticed is that the like to walk on their personal brand, they like to work on the personal brand, on how people relate to them or on how people think about them. Now most of them also work on the work on their business brand that the business has a good reputation. But most importantly, one thing that I've really noticed is most of them try to work on their personal branding, as for example, going on to different podcasts or going on to different social platforms and trying to give much to give out as much as as much insightful information as possible. You can add on to if you're into LinkedIn, most of them are doing the same. They're trying to connect to trying to help a lot of people with the kind of knowledge experience and information that they have. And in that trying to build on their personal brand so that those are some of the five things that I was able to learn from the executives that I've had on the podcast and some some of the things that you can take with and try to implement on your own.
